Your humble be tithioner begs to forward the Cfollowing petition for your hind consideration & deliberations for. the following reasons: - i.e.

That I have been invalided from the Colonial Government Service of bong, long. on account of being slightly deag. I beg to submit it was not on account of this defect but of a violent personal dislike on the part- of Commander Beckwith. then Acting Superintendent of Imporis & Exports.

That my pension of $126. per annum which commences on January 29th next, less reduction for Widows & Orphans Fund will be inadequate for Myself, Wife, and two children to live upon having sustenance.
